This is a first. I had a website but it seemed that no one needed it. Parents need a way to keep in touch but none were using the website. I decided to try the blog. It's online & comments are posted so everyone can see them. In Louisiana, we can't be friends with our students on Facebook so this is an easy and safe way for them to keep in contact & for me to let parents know what is going on.
First order of business...report cards will be given out to parents Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from 3:30 pm until 6:00 pm. LaCharacter team members will be available to show parents to their child's teacher's classroom.
Next, there is a great website for test prep that students with internet access can do at home. That website is Louisiana Pass and is free to access.
Now let's see how this will go over. Hopefully, I can keep this going & it will be successful!
